As of the end of May 2012 — after almost exactly six months of cubing — here is what my progress looked like:
The sharp quick drop followed by a long tail is really clear evidence of the steep learning curve. That phenomenon is also evident in this more narrow data set of my progress after starting to migrate seriatim away from Beginner’s Method (with the last drop after learning more OLLs/PLLs):

I notice your spike in 9 seconds between 38 and getting a sub-30 I was wondering if you could contact me in order to work on that. I usually get Sub-35.
Dude, nice progression! What are you at now? What are you working on? I find that the biggest area for improvement, at least for me, is my f2l look ahead. I just got a 15 second solve today(PB), and it had no pauses, with an easy cross, and a fat antisune with a y perm. The shengshou aurora I got yesterday helped to, but i usually average 25ish.

It’s funny getting a comment on this page, which is basically defunct. These are REALLY stale graphs, times. My current average is about 25 sec off-camera and 30 on-. Weird about those 5 seconds…I have my theories. So, not lightning fast, and definitely a plateau. But my consistency has gone up and mistakes down. My look-ahead is crap and my cross can definitely be improved.
